Nomad's Way Game Studio is seeking a dedicated QA Tester & Community Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone with a passion for gaming and experience in both quality assurance and community engagement. You will play a key role in ensuring our games meet high-quality standards while also fostering and managing our player community.

QA Tester & Community Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Reporting: Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify bugs, document issues, and provide detailed reports for developers. Assist in refining test plans and incorporating player feedback into the QA process.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and other teams to ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Communicate key findings and player insights to improve the game experience.

  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain a positive player community across social media, forums, and other platforms. Respond to player inquiries, gather feedback, and keep the community updated on game developments.

  • Content Creation and Social Media: Develop engaging content, such as updates and announcements, and manage social media channels. Plan community events, contests, and campaigns to drive engagement and retention.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in QA and Community Management: Prior experience in both QA testing and community management within the gaming industry. An understanding of game development processes and community engagement strategies.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using QA tools for bug tracking and automation. Experience with social media management tools and platforms.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to thoroughly document bugs and gather player feedback effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with development teams and interacting with the community.

  • Team Collaboration: Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring both high-quality standards and strong community interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Over 2+ years of experience in QA testing and community management, preferably in the gaming industry.

  • Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for building a strong gaming community.

  • Automation Tools Experience: Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.

  • Passion for Gaming: A deep understanding of gaming culture and a passion for video games, especially in the survival or adventure game genres.
